04.22Can I just say: The New York Post hates Jimmy Carter!
For real. The New York Post printed an article in their Post Opinion section called “Tea With Terrorists”, slamming the ex president for meeting with Hamas head honcho Khaled Meshaal. Technically it is an opinion but it is not MINE, and that is where I feel they have crossed the line. Read this quote.
“It’s bad enough that Carter- a former US president and winner of the now thoroughly discredited Nobel Peace Prize - will be putting a stamp of legitimacy on a gang of cutthroats who’ve never hesitated to include Americans in their ever growing body count.”
This person is a douche bag, plain and simple. And need I remind you that God hates the stupid? (He loves the babies and the cripples but honestly hates the stupid) Do they even know what is happening in the Mid-East? Obviously nothing is working. In fact in all the years preceding this moment, nothing has worked. There has been conflict and no clear resolution because everyone sees only their side of the story. War is the only answer these people know. Discussion is not. So how is the Nobel Peace Prize “thoroughly discredited” by someone trying to talk like a reasonable person about a peaceful conclusion to this ongoing stupidity? And how does that put a “stamp of legitimacy” on the Hamas? There is always two sides to every story and even terrorists can feel misunderstood. No high ranking US official has ever sat down with them to talk about a peaceful resolution before. That in itself is ground breaking.
The Post should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a fucking lame writer to express any opinion whatsoever, least of all one that does not coincide with my own personal beliefs. This fucker went on to say:
“The saddest thing about this get-together is that it comes as no real surprise. Indeed, it’s entirely in keeping with Carter’s recent embrace of Palestinian extremism- to the point where, in his latest published anti-Israel screed, he all but gave his blessing to attack Israel.”
What archaic logic is this poor soul operating from? To insinuate that Jimmy Carter is pro terrorism of any kind is just stupid.
The funny thing is that I thought I could be witty and engaging as I write this but I find that I’m pissed off. This writer is the same kind of “American” that burned the Dixie Chick’s CDs because they exercised their freedom of speech. This person feels so self righteous in slamming a legitimate effort to take a step toward peace, where no one had the balls or even the interest before. Why is it that peace is such a crazy idea? War doesn’t seem to be working for US so far, and it sure isn’t working for Israel and Palestine.
The conclusion is that whoever this writer is (and I WILL find them) is not a writer but a disgruntled house wife who is active in her synagogue, feels comfortable in a poly-cotton blend and really does not understand the magnitude to which this situation has escalated. That said, we should all pray for understanding…
AND pray that God kills that stupid bitch for writing such idiotic bull shit!
On second thought, she does have freedom of speech…
